Permanent makeup is not completely painless, but is generally a very tolerable amount of discomfort. Many clients report little to no pain and would compare it to a tweezing or threading session. Some clients even fall asleep! Topical anesthetic is applied during the procedure so the client can feel at ease while receiving the treatment.
In general, permanent makeup will always be present. The intensity of your permanent makeup fades in the course of time. However, this is completely dependent from person to person. This is partly due to the natural cell renewal, the immune system and the influence of UV light.
Healing time varies from person to person. I provide each client with aftercare package and written instructions. The treated area will begin to soften/lighten up within the first 10 days. It is HIGHLY recommended to have your touch-up appointment any time between 8-12 weeks following your original procedure.
Every Artist is different and can finish in different times. Usually a session can last anywhere from 2.5-3.5 hours so please plan accordingly.
As your skin exfoliates from sun damage it may take the pigment with it causing poor results. If clients arrive to their appointments with a sunburn or tan, We may be unable to perform the service and the client will be responsible for the full service amount. Please avoid tanning and sun exposure at least two weeks prior to your appointment and during the healing process.
Permanent makeup involves implanting particles of pigment into the skin using sterilized needles. It’s also known as cosmetic tattooing. Microblading, Powder Brows, and Lip Blush are all considered types of permanent makeup. Although it’s considered “permanent”, permanent makeup does fade significantly over time.
